'Ginkgo Tumble' print, limited edition of 30
'Ginkgo Tumble' print, limited edition of 30
Created for the show 'Two Worlds' at the Hasler Gallery in 2014, this Digital Art Giclee print is one of a series of 3 co-ordinating prints. The prints were created for an exhibition in a gallery in North Finchley. Myself and another artist were invited to explore the archives of The Museum of Domestic Design and Architecture for inspiration. There, I found wonderful art deco designs and exotic Japanese katagami stencils originally used for textile printing. Bearing these discoveries in mind, I found inspiration in North Finchley’s high street in the form of dynamic shapes found on the facade of an original art deco run down building and a row of Ginkgo trees newly planted. The prints combine these two found elements.
Printed onto 100% cotton museum grade paper, signed limited edition of 30 of each print.
Paper size is 50 x 40cm.
Read about the exhibition and see framed print in situ.
Giclee prints are printed onto an archival heavyweight fine art paper, 'Hahnemuehle German Etching' which has a matt textured finish and produces super-rich colours.
Limited edition of 30. Prints are signed and numbered on the front of the print.
